SAS Institute, the largest private software company in the world and business intelligence provider, decided in 2016 to undertake a complete update and modernization of its audiovisual and home automation systems in its headquarters located on 4 Arroyo de Valdebebas street in Madrid, commissioning FLULLE Installations for the implementation of this beautiful and ambitious project.
Hand in hand with the Mercedes González architecture firm and adapting to the headquarters’ design and corporate image, we performed complex image and sound work without breaking away from the aesthetics required by this demanding client. A technological showroom at the client’s service.
Taking up the ground floor of the building and inheriting part of the infrastructure that we also implemented for VESTAS, the previous tenant, we worked on the fully equipped 2,380 m² or 28,800 ft2 in each of their high-tech rooms living up to the reputation of the SAS Institute, thus being able to conduct both in-house and contractor-provided quality training, meetings and presentations with clients, as well as internal meetings with the appropriate means for optimal results.
The heart of this project is a spectacular 32-meter-long projection system over a curved wall, which is achieved by means of 8 fully synchronized image-blending projectors forming a single framed image. This majestic projection is located in front of the auditoriums, allowing SAS to receive its clients arriving for conferences or presentations in a surprising and spectacular way.
For content management and projection, a watchout system that can be converted into tactile image by means of infrared cameras is implemented, thanks to the detection of body and hands position.
FLULLE first carried out the audiovisual revamping of three training rooms, installing, configuring and programming laser projection systems, enabling the possibility of forwarding the signal to any of the other two rooms and broadcasting the images at the same time
The VIP Room, where council meetings are held, was previously equipped with 6 monitors integrated into the main table made of corian, which are automatically raised when a signal is being received. In turn, it has an 84-inch monitor on which the same content can be viewed as on tabletop screens, including a Bosé audio reproduction system.
A well-orchestrated, high-end audiovisual infrastructure generating a unique experience for the visitor and offered as a very powerful work tool to the SAS user.
