In parallel with the comprehensive property upgrade works of the unique and award-winning building sitting at 23 General Lacy street in Madrid by the landowner, Montrose Spain (2018-19), REPSOL, the Spanish multinational energy and petrochemical company decides to opt for this hallmark building for the outfitting of one of its branch offices.
At the same time as the property upgrade of the building whose Project designer and manager was Allende Arquitectos, while FLULLE was the general works contractor, Repsol decided to task the same partners with the outfitting of their offices. Through this choice, Repsol benefits from our deep knowledge of the building and the derivatives of the comprehensive property upgrade project, and the addition of many of their decisions and needs that can be integrated within the execution phase of the words, thereby reducing costs and resource demands and also shortening deadlines.
Electrical cabinets, A/C units and communications installations
The outfitting required masonry works to compartmentalize spaces using plasterboard partitions and full-height screen, finishes and masonry finishes adapted to REPSOL’s aesthetics and brand image. As for the facilities, a Data Processing Center was created including electrical panels belonging to the main and secondary DPCs, while a complete structured cabling network was adapted to the workstations through 1,270 RJ45 CAT6 sockets using about 100,000 m of U / UTP Cat6 LSZH cable and 64 panels of 24 RJ45 CAT6 ports. The air conditioning in work and common areas was also adapted and strengthened, using a VRV Daikin system, managed by a BMS. Precision equipment was fitted in communications rooms and a technologically advanced air conditioning installation was made for the great height central space of the interior patio through inductors... Technical spaces, work areas, common areas and even a space as unique as the central patio, are made available to ensure Repsol employees and visitors’ comfort.
Thanks to a continued, meticulous and well-thought choice of materials and solutions by the demanding site management, the renowned LEED Platinum certification has been obtained for this spectacular building, the highest classification within the 'Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design', that only very few buildings in Europe may boast about possessing.
