This is a purely Madrilenian project for Utopicus with more than 32,300 ft² in four stories at 42 Francisco Silvela Street, within the “Modern Madrid” from the end of the 19th century, the “Guindalera District”, built in 1882.
A fascinating and exhilarating interior design project carried out by Idoia Otegui Vicens that brings us to the architecture, districts, singularities and traditions from turn-of-the-century Madrid, blending this aesthetic with modern building materials and solutions.
The installation project has been developed in its entirety by our in-house team. We executed the works staying truthful to the planned project encompassing compartmentalization, installations, linings, coatings, fitted woodwork, decoration and furniture, all while facing the challenge of a double-height ground floor with a 6 meter clearance and curved partitioning.
The chotis, the verbena, the rosquilla or the pichi, all hallmarks of local traditions, lend their names to the individual atmospheres within, and they will make you dive into beginning of the 20th century local History.
Madrid, Madrid, Madrid.
