Cartier hosts an event each year for its elite clientele in different global cities, and this year, Madrid took center stage. The showcase features the brand’s most exclusive and distinctive jewelry, not typically found in their many retail locations. Over several days, clients and Cartier convene for discreet and exclusive transactions in an atmosphere of unparalleled privacy and sophistication. Moreover, an exhibition is usually held, showcasing a collection—in this instance, Beautés du Monde. Here, many are given access to the venue, where they marvel at the exquisite creations of the Cartier brand, witnessing everything from craftsmen working on various pieces to the most exclusive jewelry. The venue selected for this year was the former Embassy of the United Kingdom, a space abandoned since the early nineties, meticulously revitalized to set the stage for this extraordinary occasion.
FLULLE was entrusted with overseeing all the necessary installations to transform the remarkable space—the former British embassy—into the exhibition venue for CARTIER’s latest High Jewelry collection, Beautés du Monde. Leading this project was EMPTY, and we collaborated closely to ensure the deadlines and the exacting standards set by this esteemed client were met.
The orchestrator behind this event was Efímero (SOMOS Experiences). Renowned artist and designer Jaime Hayon took charge of crafting the exhibition’s set design. The architectural and interior design aspects were curated by Ventura Estudio, founded by Architect Juan Carlos Fernández and Interior Designer Reyes Castellano, in collaboration with Beatriz López Vilalta (estudio-62).
