These spaces in which human tissues are worked on must be adapted to exceptional conditions for their proper functioning. For this reason, in this fit-out project the carving room in which we installed the carving tables and the biological samples storage cabinets, all of which are actively and mechanically ventilated.
In these spaces we work with different chemical products of the formaldehyde type, very carcinogenic in even moderate concentrations. Due to this particular circumstance, these types of rooms are built at a lower level than adjacent areas to prevent outside leakage of this type of product.
The machinery installed in these rooms enable negative differential pressure control of 25 pascals between the milling room itself and the adjacent areas. Each of the milling tables and storage cabinets precisely control the vacuum flow through dampers with real-time monitored variable air volume management in the air conditioning system.
